Buyer – Detailed Parts and Raw Materials | A220 Program (6-month contract)

As part of the A220 program, we are looking for a Buyer – Detailed Parts and Raw Materials to support procurement and supplier management activities.

You will be responsible for managing calls for tenders, negotiating, and following up on supplier contracts, while ensuring the achievement of objectives regarding costs, quality, deadlines, and performance.

You will work in close collaboration with suppliers as well as various internal teams to ensure supply chain performance throughout the contract lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities

• Drive procurement activities for a portfolio of detailed parts and raw materials;
• Prepare, launch, and manage calls for tenders (RFQ/RFP) with suppliers;
• Analyze commercial proposals and negotiate prices, delivery times, contractual terms, and supply modalities;
• Participate in supplier selection in collaboration with various internal stakeholders;
• Ensure the implementation, monitoring, and compliance of supplier contracts;
• Manage daily relationships with suppliers and act as the main point of contact for commercial topics;
• Track and evaluate supplier performance regarding costs, quality, delivery, logistics, and support;
• Identify performance gaps and implement, with suppliers and internal teams, the necessary corrective action plans;
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization;
• Identify and anticipate risks related to suppliers, production capacities, costs, and supply continuity;
• Participate in cross-functional teams including notably Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program functions;
• Ensure supplier follow-up during various lifecycle phases: development, industrialization, serial production, and support;
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements, and applicable compliance rules.
