Starting salary: $23.36/hour - Up to $38.15 after 8 years of continuous service, as provided in the applicable collective agreement.

Shift premiums: evening shift – $1.00 per hour worked between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Night shift – $1.50 per hour worked between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

No experience required.

What will you do today?

Working within a dynamic team, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure aircraft loading and unloading operations are performed efficiently, ensuring flight safety and punctuality. You may be required to perform duties specifically associated with baggage and connecting passenger luggage or work on the ramp to execute the many tasks necessary for operational success.

Job requirements

In our work environment, teamwork is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. This is physically demanding work that involves staying in motion on the ramp and in the baggage room. Since our operations take place year-round, you must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.

To join us, you must:

  • Hold a valid driver's license – you will need to drive heavy equipment on the ramp;
  • Be able to repeatedly lift loads of 32 kg (70 lb);
  • Pass a medical evaluation, including drug and alcohol screening;
  • Be available to attend and successfully complete a paid, nine (9) to ten (10) week full-time training program;
  • Be available to work rotating shifts over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays);
  • Pay attention to safety and security;
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, every day;
  • Show punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment;
  • Be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transport security clearances, as well as additional authorizations (please consult the Transport Canada website for more details);
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the country concerned at the time the job offer is made. The search for any necessary work permits/visas or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of candidates for this position.
