SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop your skills as an apprentice, with the support of other experienced AMEs;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Inspection Manual and ensure familiarity with and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in any other related tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
• Previous experience in a related position as an apprentice is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Detail-oriented;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Being in the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance engineering program, or the equivalent is a requirement.
