SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop your skills as an apprentice, with the support of other experienced AMEs;
- Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Inspection Manual and ensure familiarity with and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist in any other related tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
- Previous experience in a related position as an apprentice is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Detail-oriented;
- Positive attitude;
- Good team spirit;
- Good communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- Being in the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance engineering program, or the equivalent is a requirement.
