Job Summary
As part of the industrialization of the A220 aircraft program with our partner/client, the primary role of the "Structure Stress Analyst" profile sought is to ensure that the stress analysis, within its scope, complies with certification requirements for the primary structure in static and fatigue. Knowledge of secondary structures and system installations is an asset.
Your Challenges:
The stress analyst reports directly to the Stress Team Leader and is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the technical scope is strictly respected according to client requirements, program needs, and manufacturing requirements.
- Participating in stress analyses of the primary and/or secondary structure within their scope:
- Supporting technical decision-making related to the stress analysis of the primary structure,
- Supporting technical decision-making for fixed and mobile supports,
- Preparing key technical deliverables and ensuring compliance of technical deliverables following the requirements of Airbus Atlantic and the client;
- Participating in analysis and implementation
Profile Sought
- Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in stress analysis of metallic primary structures (skin/frames/stringers...)
- Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods (AIRBUS Atlantic, BOMBARDIER, AIRBUS Canada processes and methods)
- Ability to use Catia (consultation), and have good mastery of NASTRAN, PATRAN (use of existing models, force/stress extraction...), as well as VBA programming
- Experience in calculating sheet metal and machined parts
- Possesses good written and oral communication skills
- Project management experience would be a plus
- Languages: French, English (technical)
