Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Quality Manager
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Director of Airbus Atlantique Canada, the incumbent will manage the Program Quality teams as well as the Integrated Management System (BMS/QMS) Core teams. The scope of the position therefore includes the quality interface with the customer for the A220 and Global 8000 programs, as well as the cascading, maintenance, and monitoring of internal requirements/procedures.
Your Challenges:
Ensure compliance with EHS rules within their team and be an active participant in improving the group's Health-Safety record;
Support and participate in compliance with Product Safety rules;
Guarantee of the Integrated Management System (IMS/QMS);
Ensure the cascading of AIRBUS Atlantic SAS, Customer, and regulatory requirements to the teams;
Represent Quality at various reviews (SQCDP, Industry, Quality, and Program);
Be the focal point for all Quality-related questions within their scope;
Establish and maintain Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
Establish and execute the audit and monitoring plan for the site;
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the quality team budget;
Ensure compliance with procedures, customer requirements, and regulations;
Ensure the maintenance of the group's quality standards;
Drive projects related to the strategic axes of the group and subsidiaries;
Ensure adherence to customer requirements by the various program functions;
Ensure the maintenance of the Quality Assurance Plan and support those of our supply chain;
Work closely with the various functions to initiate, evaluate, and improve processes;
Represent AIRBUS Atlantique during visits, customer audits, and/or external audits;
Represent the central quality business unit (France) within Airbus Atlantique Canada.
Your Profile:
Hold a University or College Degree in Aeronautics;
Ten (10) years of experience in an aeronautical environment are required;
Experience in personnel management;
Experience in Quality (Supplier Quality, Operations Quality, or Quality Assurance) is a serious asset;
Be familiar with product inspection methods used in aeronautics;
Be familiar with manufacturing methods for various parts used in the assembly of aeronautical structures;
Know the assembly methods used in the aeronautical sector;
Be bilingual in French/English;
Have project management skills;
Master the Office & Google Suite;
Be familiar with the EN/AS9100 standard;
Be autonomous. Demonstrate initiative, organizational skills, and time management;
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with unforeseen situations, emergencies, and a certain flexibility regarding work schedules.
Working Conditions
