Pre-flight Mechanic

DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER

AAA Canada is looking for several Pre-flight Mechanics (AME) to join its team.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair mechanical components;
• Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems;
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.);
• Prepare aircraft for flights ("refueling", daily inspection);
• Participate in engine and APU (auxiliary power unit) tests;
• Perform modifications according to service bulletins while respecting industry standards;
• May be required to work in a noisy environment in the presence of dust;
• Participate in the continuous improvement program (SAE);
• Perform all other related tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• You have college or vocational training:
• Diploma (D.E.C.) or (A.E.C.) in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent diploma in aircraft maintenance recognized by the Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés Culturelles (MICC)
• An AME licence of class M2 (B1), B1 (B2) and a High School Diploma (D.E.S)
• You have five (5) years of experience as an aircraft maintenance mechanic.
• You are skilled at reading technical drawings and maintenance manuals;
• You are flexible regarding work shifts.
• Bilingualism (French - English) orally and in writing is an important asset for communication in the client site's multilingual environment and technical documentation.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
