The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. State-of-the-art equipment is used for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
The work involves performing chromium, zinc-nickel, and nickel plating operations by electrodeposition using anodes, forms, anode baskets, basins, chemical solutions, and other techniques.
More specifically, you will be called upon to:
- Control the conditions of very high mechanical strength parts at all stages of the process
- Prepare and assemble parts with anodes and masks
- Perform electrolytic deposits (cadmium plating, chrome plating, or nickel plating)
- Apply and control plating parameters on electronic interfaces
- Use digital and analog measuring instruments
- Participate in the certification of plating baths
- Perform part inspection
Evening shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM
Note: Depending on collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, night, or weekend)
The compensation for this position starts between $31.18 and $45.12 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring skills related to the position, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $48.97.

Requirements:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P.) in surface treatment, aeronautical mechanical assembly, structure assembly, welding-assembly, or equivalent experience
- Manual work experience or experience in the manufacturing field
- Knowledge of blueprint reading (an asset)
