Main functions

• Accurately maintain maintenance plans for each assigned aircraft.
• Ensure that maintenance requirements meet regulatory limits.
• Create, manage, and close work orders for each assigned aircraft.
• Determine material and tool requirements for scheduled work and ensure their availability.
• Coordinate with the Operations group to optimize ground time for maintenance requirements and minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure effective coordination with other departments to guarantee the proper execution of scheduled tasks.
• Communicate downtime requirements for each assigned aircraft, inform other stakeholders, resolve scheduling issues, and develop agreements.
• Forward unresolved scheduling issues to the service manager.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of safety issues and actively support the SMS program.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning.
• Good practical knowledge of air transport industry standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of procedures and requirements related to line maintenance, airframe maintenance, and aircraft checks, an asset.
• Interim assignments or prior experience in the aforementioned fields, an asset.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of an airline's operating environment.
• Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of TRAX, Netline, Communicator, and AirNav systems, an asset.
• Recognized organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure with changing priorities.
• Solid written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
