Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Measure and mark sheet metal in accordance with drawings and templates
• Cut, bend, punch, drill or straighten sheet metal using metalworking machines such as stamping machines, presses and punch presses as well as numerically controlled equipment
• Grind and polish joints, fittings and rough surfaces
• Form various alloys according to drawing specifications
• Check product and installation quality to ensure compliance
• Keep the work area clean and safe.

Requirements and qualifications

• You have at least a vocational diploma in precision sheet metal work or DEP in sheet metal tinsmithing or Secondary 5 AND Possess 2 years of manual experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Very good knowledge of aeronautical technical specifications (strongly considered asset).
• Quick wit and developed attention to detail.
• Communication in French orally and in writing.
